Your test configurations
Your destination IP addresses, hostnames, and generated iPerf3 commands stay in your browser. The BuildCMD command generator operates client-side. It does not submit those values to a BuildCMD server or save them to a BuildCMD database.
When you select Copy, your browser writes the generated command to its clipboard. BuildCMD does not run the test or connect to the destination you enter. The generator does not require an account.
Website delivery and security
BuildCMD is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. When you load the website, Cloudflare processes technical request information, which can include your public IP address, browser and device information, request details, and security-related data, as needed to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may set cookies needed for security or service operation. This is separate from any destination IP address you enter into the generator. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We may use Cloudflare's privacy-focused analytics to understand page views, referral sources, and website performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed not to use cookies, local storage, or visitor fingerprinting for visitor tracking. We do not intentionally send generator target addresses or complete commands as analytics events. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Advertising
BuildCMD has applied for Google AdSense. The website currently includes an AdSense ownership-verification meta tag; that tag by itself does not serve ads. If advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to provide, measure, and protect advertisements, including ads informed by visits to this or other websites where permitted.
You can manage Google's personalized advertising through My Ad Center and learn about Google's information practices at How Google uses information from partner sites. Where required, advertising-related consent choices will be provided before applicable technologies are used.
External links and future payment services
Links to external guides or services take you to websites with their own privacy practices. If BuildCMD later adds voluntary contributions through a payment provider, that provider will process payments under its own policies. BuildCMD does not currently collect payment details through the generator.
Changes and questions
We may update this policy when our data practices or third-party services change. We will publish the effective date of material updates here.
