iPerf3 Command Generator
Configure your TCP or UDP test without hunting for flags. Choose a destination, customize the test, and copy an iPerf3 command in seconds.
⚙ Test configuration
Public listings are unverified and may be busy, restricted, or unavailable. Confirm permitted test parameters with the operator.
5201 is the default iPerf3 server port. Change it if your server listens on a different port.
⚡ Stream & bandwidth configuration
The target applies to each stream. Enter 0 to remove the bitrate limit.
TCP defaults to unlimited bitrate. Leave it at Unlimited to test maximum achievable throughput.
Aggregate sending-rate target
Unlimited
No configured bitrate limit.
Advanced settings
Use 0 to suppress periodic reporting. For example, 0.5 prints every half second.

iPerf3 Testing Guides
Commands, flag explanations, and common configurations. Start with an example, then customize your test in the generator above.
UDP Throughput, Loss & Jitter →Set an offered load, interpret loss and jitter, and understand UDP bitrate options.TCP Throughput & Parallel Streams →Compare single-flow and multistream TCP performance, with optional bitrate pacing.Reverse & Bidirectional Tests →Control which endpoint sends data using -R and --bidir.
About BuildCMD
Powerful networking tools, without the syntax headache.
BuildCMD makes network testing more approachable. Whether you’re checking a home connection or diagnosing a complex network, you can configure an iPerf3 test and generate a command without memorizing its options.
The generator is free to use, requires no account, and builds commands locally in your browser. It generates commands for you to run with iPerf3; it does not run the test itself.
TCP or UDPConfigure TCP or UDP tests, including optional per-stream bitrate targets.
Direction mattersForward sends from the client; reverse sends from the server; bidirectional sends both ways simultaneously.
Per-stream bandwidthThe
-b setting applies to each parallel TCP or UDP stream, not to the aggregate.
